  Day 1 Arusha, Tanzania
You are met on arrival by an Origins representative and transferred to your hotel.
1 overnight New Arusha Hotel

Days 2&3 Lake Eyasi
We set off for the scenic drive via Mto wa Mbu and Karatu to Lake Eyasi. Inhabited by Datoga and Barabaiz tribes peoples these towns offer superb insights into the traditional lives of these Maasai related pastoralists. The Hadzabe of the Lake on the other hand are related to the !Kung and San bushmen of southern Africa, their lives are even more removed from modern influence.

We stay in Origins’ Private Tented Camp: the perfect way to access areas such as Eyasi where there are no permanent accommodations. A hark back to days gone by the Mobile camp offers you the chance to stay in modern versions of the large walk in safari tents used by the explorers of the last century, with no effort to provide for your comfort spared.
2 overnights Origins Private Tented Camp

Days 4&5 Ngorongoro Crater
We drive across to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater: its 2000 meter high escarpment walls of the host Africa's highest concentration of large mammals. It is also home to some of the most authentic groups of traditional Maasai to be found in northern Tanzania.
2 overnights Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Days 6,7&8 Serengeti Plains
We drive via Olduvai Gorge, home to some of Mankind's earliest relics and on to the Serengeti. The land of the big cats, the Serengeti with its endless plains is the heart of any African wilderness experience. The flexibility granted by the mobile camp to this itinerary is the ability to locate the camp right in the path of the oncoming migration, guaranteeing you ring side seats. We arrive ‘home’ to our private camp set up ready for us on the plains, sited wherever the greatest wildlife concentrations are at the time.
3 overnights Origins Private Tented Camp

Day 9 Depart
We say farewell to the Serengeti and fly back to Arusha where a dayroom is reserved for you to freshen up before you depart.
