1: Nairobi
An Origins driver will meet you at
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
and transfer you to a Nairobi hotel.

2 - 6: Lower Maasai Mara
You
meet your Professional Safari Guide
for a briefing and drive for 4-5 hours
to reach the Maasai Mara National
Reserve, descending the Rift escarpment
just north of Nairobi and crossing
the flat valley floor before we ascend
to the Mara plateau.
Your base is the Serena Lodge in the
heart of the lower Mara.
We spend the next four days following
the herds, capturing the drama as
it unfolds throughout the day. Early
starts and evening drives back after
full days roving the plains with provisions
on board to ensure uninterrupted access
to the greatest wildlife spectacle
of them all.

7 - 11: Upper Maasai Mara
As early as possible you breakfast
and check out and drive across the
plains with a picnic lunch, photographing
and filming en route towards our next
base: a tented camp in the upper Mara,
overlooking the Talek River.
Your
wilderness rhythm is uninterrupted,
the different habitats and species
are unveiled as you spend your days
driving, watching and capturing on
film the dramas as they unfold. The
key is flexibility: your guide will
know where to look, at which time
of day for specific behavioural patterns
and wildlife rituals. .
You
arrive at the Mara Intrepids Camp
at the end of the afternoon
for welcome cold drinks and hot showers
and time to relax around the campfire
or maybe a quick dip in the pool before
sundowners at the bar.

12: Depart
After
breakfast you drive across the savannah
on a last excursion, stopping for
a picnic lunch at mid-day. You reach
Nairobi mid-afternoon with time to
freshen up and prepare for the international
flight home.

1: Arusha
On
arrival in Arusha at Kilimanjaro International
Airport, you will be greeted by an

2-11: Serengeti National Park
You
leave very early for the 5-6 hour
drive to the Serengeti plains. Here
your mobile safari camp is set up
to give the best access and maximum
coverage of the herds as they graze
and browse the plains, stalked by
their predators. Your base
is a mobile tented camp, flexible,
comfortable and entirely dedicated
to this safari.

You
spend the morning on your final photographic
shoot, before heading back to Arusha.
On arrival in Arusha a day room is
booked for you to rest, re-pack and
freshen up prior to your international
flight departure.

12: Drive to Ngorongoro
You
leave camp early in the morning and
drive across the Serengeti plains
with a packed lunch before arriving
in the Ngorongoro highlands.
You spend the next two days exploring
the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wildlife
haven created by the sheer walls of
this extinct volcano, home to greatest
mass of large mammals in Africa.

Back
to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha a
day room awaits you prior to the international
flight departure.
